So I am very excited to announce (if you haven’t already seen it on my website, Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace) that my first novel Phantom Island: Wind came in as a Finalist in TWO categories of the National “Best Books of 2009” Awards. It came in under “Fiction & Literature: Young Adult” and “Fiction & Literature: Cross-Genre”… very cool! This is a huge accomplishment – being a finalist out of so many is quite an honor!
