I confess that I have the most amazing photographer … my friend, Jaclyn, has finally started her own photography business after years of experience. And just in time … because I needed someone to do my headshots for all the publicity stuff I have coming up. I have to say … she made me look GOOD.
The thing about Jaclyn’s photography is that she can turn a nerd teacher into a rockstar … a dork into a princess … an aspiring writer into a real author. And that’s about how my pictures turned out. I have never seen her so in her element — she climbed over treacherous and slippery rocks, squatted in the grass, picked through trees, and traipsed after me in the freezing cold wind just to get the right shots. 
THAT is what makes a photographer an artist. She even stood there while I chewed viciously on my bubble gum, desperately trying to form a bubble worth shooting.
